One week ago today we sadly returned from a trip of a lifetime. Back to the chilly Montana winds, away from white sandy beaches and warm tropical weather. Where was this wonderland I speak of? It was Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We were brought there by two angels. Two of the most caring, loving and selfless people I have ever encountered. They brought us in to capture and share in the day that started a new chapter of the Davidson Family. With their wonderful friends and family we happily celebrated and cherished EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. Thank You John and Bonnie!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! I hope you enjoy this little peek into the day you became Husband & Wife. XOXO! Juli

As you might know, I am not one of many words. I express my ideas and thoughts creatively. I like to make those around me laugh and look at pretty things. This year brought me many of those opportunities. None of these opportunities would have been possible without the wonderful people that brought themselves to me. Trusting me to freeze moments in time to treasure, well, forever! While building this slideshow I was able to remember every moment of each day they were created. And so I sit here with happiness running through me and a smile that spreads across my face, I am in hopes that this show will do the same for you. Thank you to all these amazing faces for helping to make this past year one that this next has to live up to! Love to All! XOXO! When I was contacted back in the beginning of May(I believe) about doing a family photo shoot, I figured it would be like all my other family shoots. Everyone shows up, looking confused, some not really wanting to be there, others ready to do this, me smiling and being totally silly. But after talking with Paula(the baby!) about how special this shoot was going to be, I was STOKED!! I had 2 months to get ready and NOT RUIN this!! This was a secret! A secret? I'm not good at lying and really not good at keeping secrets! The plan was set. All I really needed to do was make sure Mom, Joyce(Barbra), knew where to meet me and what time. I was a ball of nerves all day. I was afraid I was going to blow it! I needed someone to calm me down, so I called my trusty companion, Lovely. Thank goodness she was back from camping and willing to tag along! (Thanks girl!! Like I said, you are my zen!) So we show up and start getting set to shoot. The plan was to start shooting with Mom and Dad(Joyce and Bob) and the kids and grandkids, from near and far, would come from behind and surprise Mom. It was perfect!!! Mom, Joyce(Barbra) had no idea and she was completely surprised! Isn't Mom, Joyce(Barbra) beautiful! By the way, she acquired the name Barbra from me. For the life of me, I couldn't stop calling her Barbra!! Even after correcting myself! I'm just so thankful that she tolerated my silliness on top of calling her by the wrong name!! Thank you, Barbra! ;0) As I figured, my blogging skills are lacking! With 2012 coming to an end, I thought I would put together a slide show of all my wondrful clients. Thank You to all of you for your ongoing support of JFP. I apperciate all of you! When Chandra claimed one of my rare offers for a mini session, I instantly got excited! Our first family session was so fun and her little family just makes my heart so happy!! This session was exceptionally fun! The girls have all gotten so big and their personalities have blossomed into cool little people. With a little taunting, the tough firefighter in George turns into a bit of a smarty pants who adores his girls. Chandra has her hands full with this crew but with the ear to ear smiles she sports, I don't see her ever complaining! :0)
Thank You all for a wonderful day and for giving me the opportunity to watch your family grow through my lens! Looking forward to many more laughs with you guys! I first met this sassy lil Miss when I photographed her sisters wedding. I knew right away that our session was going to be Epic! As I mulled over what we were going to do, I decided that one session wasn't going to cut it. On our first session we were attacked by chawawa eating mosquitoes, we sweat off about 2 pounds, but most of all we laughed!! ALOT! Our second session was very high energy. But it wasn't Brianna giving such energy. It was her pooch, Sophie Marie (yes her dog has a middle name! :0)). She modeled a little for me but as soon as we stepped out for outdoor shots she went nutso! She chased grasshoppers, brought us sticks to throw, and then decided for us when it was time to shoot in the water! It was one of my favorite shoots to date! Thanks Brianna, Jordan(our dutiful helper!) and Sophie for such a wonderful evening(s)!! LOVE this photobomb with Sophie!!
I met up the Mike and Chelsea in downtown Billings, Mt. We casually started our session at a hip little wine bar. The atmosphere was amazing, the wine chilled and the lighting Ah-Mazing! We then ventured out to the park to snap some photos with their fur babies, who were too excited!! It was a wonderful session and I really had so much fun. Thank You Mike and Chelsea for this opportunity! I
After rescheduling our session, a couple of times, I finally got the chance to play with this mommy and her adorable kidlets! Who knew that they were naturals in front of the camera! I didn't have to give much direction at all! It was fantastic! Thanks for a fun afternoon you guys! Let's play again soon!
It was an amazing Fall afternoon when I first met Cierra and Justin. We were meeting at the beautiful Moss Mansion to start their Engagement session. Upon meeting them I just knew that they were meant for each other. Whether it be the way they looked at each other, the cute teasing, or the constant contact there was no denying these two were happy! Cierra is not only beautiful on the outside, but she won me over with her outstanding personality. Justin on the other hand, had me laughing with his witty comments. It was hard ending the session because I wanted to spend more time with these two! Fast forward to this past Saturday, Wedding Day, where I woke to raindrops pounding on my roof. Great! What wedding doesn't need to start off with rain? It was a good omen! The day turned out to be so gorgeous! Not half as gorgeous as the bride and groom though! The wedding was beautiful! Thank You Cierra and Justin for having me along to capture one the best days of your life! I am so grateful to now have you two in my life and be able to call you my friends. Here's to many more unforgetable memories! Jake & Amy
There are many words that come to mind to discribe this couple. The first is Amazing! Second, third and fourth are I Love Them! Not in a wierd stalker way but I could totally hang with these two All. The. Time. way. We started our morning at the park on a beautiful sunshiney May day. We laughed, joked, prayed Gracie wouldn't jump in the creek, I threatened to beat Jake. You know a typical JFP session! Ha! Totally kidding (kind of)! :0) After playing in the sun, strolling downtown, they were kind enough to tour Billings with me in search of a Merry-go-round. Epic fail. Seriously, not a single one was to be found. Although I didn't get my shot, I did get to chat and laugh with two of the coolest people! Thank You Jake and Amy for helping make my Mother's Day so wonderful! October 20th can't come soon enough! XOXO! |
